We\u2019re excited to welcome SoCal native Nocturne to the decks for DTLA Radio Friends & Family EP055.<\/p>\n
Born and raised in Los Angeles, Nocturne\u2019s journey began in 2007 under his former alias DJ Turiz, where he built a strong reputation across Southern California\u2019s nightclub scene from 2009\u20132019, delivering high-energy DJ sets and live MC performances.<\/p>\n
In 2018, he launched Cali\u2019s HouseNation Radio (CHNR)\u2014a mixshow dedicated to house and dance music that quickly grew into a global podcast platform. By 2020, he introduced the Nocturne alias, shifting his focus toward deeper electronic sounds and diving into music production. This evolution also sparked the creation of two standout series: On the Deep End, exploring deep, progressive, and melodic house & techno, and Deep House Sessions, dedicated to the deeper side of house.<\/p>\n
Continuing to expand his reach, Nocturne founded the CHNR Syndication Network in 2022, bringing CHNR and its sister shows to radio stations worldwide.<\/p>\n
