Raised in the close-knit neighborhood of Sunset Park, OPHBEET discovered house music during New York City’s late-’80s dance music explosion. He honed his craft under the guidance of Masters at Work legend Kenny “Dope” Gonzalez while digging records at the iconic Music Center record shop.

Today, OPHBEET continues to captivate audiences through club performances and his acclaimed radio shows, The OPHWERK Sessions and The Dark Hour Society, where his signature sound and passion for underground house music shine through.
